Become a member of the Rethinking African Security Network.

RRAS is composed of active members, founding members and honorary members.

An active member is any person or entity that adheres to the Articles of Association and Internal Regulations of the RRAS and takes an active part in its activities and programs.

Membership criteria :
To join the organization as an active member, any individual or legal entity must :
-enjoy full civil and civic rights;
-apply for membership in writing;
-pay membership fees and undertake to pay dues

Membership procedure :
Membership applications must be made in writing and sent to the Steering Committee, which has 15 working days in which to respond to the request.

Honorary members are individuals or entities who have rendered eminent service to the RRAS.

The eminence of the service is sovereignly assessed by the Steering Committee, which after deliberation informs the benefactor.

The benefactor’s consent is required for inclusion on the list of honorary members.

The founding members are the individuals who initiated the creation of the Rethinking Security in Africa Network:
– Ms. Maire-Noelle Koyara, National Council for Active Nonviolence in the Central African Republic
– Mr. Ralf Becker, Security Neu Denken, Germany
– Mr. Hubert Heindl, African Program for Active and Rapid Nonviolent Intervention
– Ms. Maria Biedrawa, International Fellowship of Reconciliation, France
